Runcom Technologies is a privately owned company founded in 1997 by Dr Zion Hadad, with 135 employees. 59% of the shares are held by the founders and employees and 38% of the shares are held by investors (Concord, SMAC, TLcom, Toshira Investment and DBT). First investment of 8.2M$ made by Vertex and Concord in December 2000 (company value of 48M$, pre investment) and second investment of 10M$ by TLCom in August 2008 (company value of 80M$, pre investment).

Runcom develops, manufactures and markets a comprehensive portfolio of certified Mobile WiMAX products comprising product lines of Mobile WiMAX Base Stations, User Terminals and turnkey solutions for operators and Service Providers.

OFDMA is the core technology of Runcom and its evolution path spans the entire spectrum of unique implementations starting with the DVB-RCT system, then development of System-on-Chip for WiBro system in Korea, implementation of first and second generation of System-on-chip for the mobile WiMAX and the evolved path will continue in establishing LTE as one of Runcom`s main future business goals.
